This is a transition programme, equivalent to Year 13 in New Zealand, Year 12 or matriculation in Australia and ‘A’ levels in United Kingdom. It is equivalent to the Higher School Certificate level offered in some countries.

The course has a strong emphasis on Numeracy, English Language and Communication Skills to prepare students for Business Education in Tertiary Institutes. On completion of the Certificate, students are expected to have an English Language proficiency score of approximately 6.0 on the IELTS scale.

Pathways
Students completing the Certificate are guaranteed entry into Diploma in Business Management Level 5 and Diploma in Commerce L5.

Entry Requirements:

• Minimum 17 years of age (international students).
• Successful completion of New Zealand year 12 secondary schooling, or O levels with a pass grade of B, or equivalent.
